THE GREAT BACKYARD BIRD COUNT 2008!
Please join the Vehe Farm Foundation in coordination
with the Prairie Woods Audubon Society to
count the number of bird species at the Vehe Farm.
Meet at Vehe Farm at noon to receive your bird count data forms. There will be a short program on bird identification. Warming Center with hot cocoa and treats.
Fun for families, kids, the curious, experienced birders, or newbies.
Great educational opportunity for all the "citizen scientists" out there!
Bring a pencil and binoculars. Limited loaner binoculars.
Event will take place even if it is inclement weather. Dress warm!
Foundation & Audubon Society folks will be there to help identify the different bird species and answer any questions!
